Adithan Arunachalam, Aspiring Political Thinker
Among his accolades, Adithan Arunachalam received the Cambridge International Certificate of Education Award, and is a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. He is also an aspiring political and economic thinker and has written several essays on the subject. His essay titles include “Tamil Resistance to Linguistic Homogeneity in India: What We Can Learn from the Hawaiian Response to Linguistic Colonization,” “The Relationship between the Finances of the Premier League Club and Its Performance,” and “Soviet Espionage and the Manhattan Project,” among others.
Moreover, Adithan exhibits a commitment to the community, volunteering during his time at KC High, an International Baccalaureate school in India. He tutored a student from a low-income family in math, English, history, and social science. While at KC High, Adithan Arunachalam started the school’s cricket team and debate club. In addition, Adithan served as an intern for the non-profit Professionals Forum.
Outside of writing, Adithan enjoys watching comedies and sci-fi television programs and films. Adithan Arunachalam has an interest in computer science and used the knowledge to create a portal for cricket coaches to follow their players’ stats. Plus, he speaks English, Tamil, Hindi, and conversational Spanish.
